This policy explains how Fancy Cleaning Services Inc. ("Fancy Cleaning", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information submitted through fancycleaning.ca, including our residential quote form and our commercial facility walkthrough form.
Information we collect
When you submit a form, we collect the information you enter:
- Residential quote form: your name, email address, phone number, city, the service you need, home size, preferred date and any notes you add.
- Commercial walkthrough form: your name, company name, business email, phone number, facility address and city, facility type and size, cleaning frequency and timing preferences, whether you have a current cleaning provider, your desired start date and any additional requirements you add.
Along with your form, we also receive information about how you reached our website: the page you first landed on, the website that referred you (if any), and campaign tags in the link you clicked, such as UTM parameters or ad click identifiers. This is stored in your browser only for the current session (it is cleared when you close the tab) and is sent to us only if you submit a form.
To protect our forms from spam, our server temporarily keeps a one-way coded (hashed) version of your IP address to limit repeated submissions. We do not use it to identify you.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request, prepare a quote or proposal, and arrange a walkthrough or cleaning appointment.
- To provide and manage the services you book with us.
- To understand which advertising, outreach, search and referral channels bring us enquiries, so we can improve our marketing.
- To protect our website and forms from spam and abuse.
We collect only what we need for these purposes. We do not sell your personal information.
Consent
By submitting a form, you consent to us collecting and using your information as described in this policy. Submitting a form does not sign you up for marketing emails. We will only send you promotional messages if you agree to receive them, and every such message will include a way to unsubscribe.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us (see below), subject to legal or contractual restrictions. If you withdraw consent, we may not be able to provide a quote or service.
Who we share it with
Your form submissions are delivered by email to our sales team and shared within Fancy Cleaning only with people who need them to respond to you or deliver your service.
We use service providers to run this website, including our web hosting and email provider. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services. Our website also loads fonts from Google Fonts and images from Unsplash; when your browser loads them, those providers receive technical information such as your IP address. Some service providers may store or process information outside Ontario or Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of those places.
We may also disclose information where required by law.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. The attribution information described above is kept in your browser's session storage, not in cookies. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and customer information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections to our website, access limited to authorized staff, and storage of form-handling data outside the public part of our web server. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information against loss, theft and unauthorized access.
